Blackfriars Station’s work has started on what will be the first station to straddle the river Thames. The £350m is part of the £5.5 bn Thameslink Programme to ease rail congestion and to cope with a predicted growth in commuters.

Two architects are involved in the project: Jacobs designing the building and Tony Gee & Partners designing the bridge

Now this i DO find impressive!
They have some realistic CGIs, and they look good too! These buildings could actually be built and be useable!
As long as The Blackfriar Pub (Nicholsons) is not effected I am all FOR this project!
Some impressive photography too, the next time BOIDUS needs some photgraphic material like this drop me a line, this is MY style

I kinda like the designs too. I think its brave to span the Thames though. Its using all the space they can get.
